Jerrie preached his first sermon at 16 and has preached full-time for Church of Christ congregations in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Georgia. Since “retiring” in 2007, he has served as an interim preacher for ten churches.
Jerrie is noted for his simple messages, interesting illustrations, and practical applications.

Mission Discovery mission trips are organized around five—to ten-day short-term mission outreaches. Each mission trip team is involved in a vital construction project and an outreach led by team members who communicate the Good News of Jesus Christ.
